•Blood Type B history – According to researchers, evolution of type B blood occurred due to mutations that happened some centuries ago within people living in the Western Himalayan region. These people who were earlier living in the hot and humid climates of Africa gradually migrated towards temperate and cold climatic regions. Type B blood type originated as a mechanism to facilitate their survival amidst these varying climatic conditions. As per records, this trait was first observed in Caucasians and Mongolian tribes living in and around the Ural Mountains in Asia. Gradually, this genetic trait spread to people living in other geographical regions through migrating and nomadic tribes. At present, type B blood is the most commonly found blood type in the world, particularly in the European and Asian countries including Germany, Austria, China, Japan, Mongolia, Korea, and India. •Type AB history – This is one of the most recent blood types thought to have originated some centuries ago when people with Type A intermingled with Type B individuals. The most intriguing character about individuals with Type AB blood type is that their body systems can behave as of Type A or Type B according to the environment.
